Released in 1987, the Alesis Midiverb II is a 19 inch rack unit consisting of 99 fuzzy, grainy and uneditable presets covering reverbs, chorus, flange, delay and special fx.

Despite being a budget unit the midiverb still has plenty of fans and has achieved cult status for it’s lo-fi, atmospheric reverbs and famous ‘bloom’ presets. It's a favourite amongst electronic music producers and shoegaze musicans

This set of IRs are an attempt to capture some of the magic using recordings of my own treasured midiverb II, a unit which I used extensively on the detective imsim Shadows of Doubt.

This download also includes 'deluxe' versions which are remastered by me to overcome some of the units limitations and provide a slightly more modern sound.

Note: These IRs require a convolution reverb to use.
